who she is

My name is Taylor. California born, Florida raised, with my heart and home in Colorado. All that moving certainly invoked a desire in me to explore; from coast to coast, above the trees, and beyond the borders of my country. I’ve always had to work hard for what I have. At the tender age of 17, I had sacrificed my social life and devoted ample hours to saving enough money to get me to Australia. I had even managed to convince my parents I was responsible enough to take the journey alone. That ole’ travel bug got me bad. It became clear that totally epic experiences happen beyond our comfort zones, in foreign locations, and are even better realized when shared with “strangers” who seem to have chosen a similar path, but are wandering in a different direction than us. The saying is true, “travel is the only thing you buy, that makes you richer.”

My voyage continued once I entered college. I chose to study foreign languages so I could get some new perspective, and ventured abroad for the experience of complete immersion. Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and more extensively through Costa Rica. They give school credit for this? Holy smokes are we lucky! After graduating, busting arse yet again to save for bigger and brighter things, my travel companion and I took off to Europe where we backpacked through 12 countries in 3 months…and to keep it going flew to Costa Rica on a whim for another 3 months. I hope to share of the beauty and madness of that journey more extensively with you all!

Life is about discovering our passions, chasing our bliss, and seeking out our true potential. Constant growth is essential. So much has changed for me as I’ve started adulting. My love for music runs deep: memories of following my favorite bands across the country, knowing that freedom of festival life, and how pure love can feel. Festivals create genuine community, there are no boundaries; our separation as thin as tent walls. I keep those wonderful feelings and concepts close to me. They remind me how lucky we are to partake in such a unique human experience. I am reminded of my love for people; how we are truly one in the same.

I consider myself to be a hippie turned yachtie, as I have taken to the sea to see how the other half lives. I am the ultimate bag lady, one for every occasion; living out of my car and using it as portable storage while I am away on charter. When I am not catering to the rich and famous, I look to the skies. Currently I am taking on the oh so extreme task of learning kiteboarding. Believe it or not, but my biggest fear is losing control; not having things planned to a T, and just letting go. Kiteboarding means embracing chaos; preparing for the best and expecting the worst. Just another one of life’s lessons in learning how to balance and overcome obstacles.

I am passionate about motivating people to put their best foot forward. I desire to inspire. We create abundance for ourselves through action and a positive mindset. There is no time like now, or a better place than here to look for support in being your greatest version. We are all getting into the best shape of our lives, committing to healthier lifestyle choices, and learning to become more connected. The future is bright my friends! We are in this together!
